What this Australian man, Pete Ross, and this New Zelander lady, Susy Sapphire, are doing in Milan will always a mystery to me. But also why they ended up shooting their first video in my hometown, 5000 souls nested between a lake that doesn’t want to be river and mountains that haven’t fully grown up yet, will always sound like a misterious coincidence.
But I’m lucky enough to be right here right now and enjoy some fresh air in the moldy undergroung gig venues in Milan. They put on a hell of a show great sound, raw energy and a refreshing feel of people firmly believing in what they do. They communicate with music more than with their looks, and they look damn good.
